IS

PTO?
YOU!

at

Run
Elementary,
consider
yourself
part
of
our
Parent
Teacher
Organization!
Our
PTO
consists
of
4
executive
board
members,
teachers
and
parent
volunteers
like
you!
Volunteers
are
vital
to
our
school's
PTO;
offering
invaluable
resources
to
our
teachers
and
students.
WHAT DOES THE PTO DO?
Organizing
school
events
and
fundraisers
is
a
key
part
of
PTO.
These
events
include
Block
Party,
Costume
Bingo,
Spirit
Nights,
Movie
Nights,
Boosterthon,
Donuts
with
Dad,
Muffins
with
Mom
and
so
much
more!
Teacher
grants
to
fulfill
special
projects
in
the
classroom
on
a
case
by
case
basis
are
paid
by
the
PTO.
In
the
past
we
have
helped
fund
the
5th
grade
Shark
Tank
project.
We
help
fund
school
field
trips;
purchase
year
books
and
supplies
for
families
that
need
assistance.
Every
year
the
PTO
gives
a
large
contribution
to
Bristow
Run
Elementary.
In
the
past
these
funds
have
been
used
to
purchase
iPad
carts,
playground
equipment,
field
day
supplies,
the
LEGO
wall
and
more.
