Dear Bristow Run Families, Staff, and Community,
I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Bristow Run Elementary School, effective the 2026-27 school year. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve the students, families, and staff of such a dedicated and vibrant school.
I am especially honored to serve a school within the Bristow community, where I live and proudly call home. Leading a school that serves my own community makes this opportunity particularly meaningful, and I look forward to giving back through my work while building lasting relationships with the families and staff who make this area such a special place.
My career in PWCS spans more than 20 years, including the past 16 as the assistant principal at T. Clay Wood Elementary School. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work alongside passionate educators, supportive families, and resilient students who have continually shaped my approach to leadership. Working so closely with school communities has strengthened my belief that strong instruction, thoughtful support systems, and care for the whole child are essential to helping students thrive.
I am inspired by Bristow Run's commitment to student growth, collaboration, and community. I look forward to building upon the strong foundation already in place and working collaboratively to ensure every student feels known, valued, challenged, and supported.
I firmly believe that schools are strongest when relationships are at the center of the work. Meaningful partnerships between families, staff, and the broader community are essential to student success, and I look forward to listening, learning, and growing together.
