Safety Patrols wear a uniform called the safety patrol belt and a badge once they memorize the Safety Patrol Pledge. Safety Patrols assist staff members in ensuring student safety.

Patrols are 5th grade leaders and role models that complete an application process at the end of their fourth grade year. Applications are blindly reviewed (names redacted) by a committee and patrols are chosen based on their essays and staff recommendations.
