Announcements: Hi everyone! It was great to see everyone who could make it out to the STEAM Night that was last Thursday. All seemed to enjoy it. I am so excited about our upcoming field trip that is this Thursday ( with a rain date of Friday.) I am hoping for great weather. This is also our Kindness Week. For more information... about our current units of study, any current projects, class happenings like celebrations and more, see my newsletter files for the most current information. Homework due dates can be found on the calendar. Speaking of homework, please be sure to read each night and when you can practice reflex math or study ( studying could be part of your reading time). I have also included some excerpts from http://snacksafely.com/thanks-for-download/ in my files to help keep our students in our class safe if they have food allergies. I thought it might be helpful since a few people asked how to best help with this. Hope this is helpful. Also, to help students transition to 3rd grade, I will begin to show them how to do some cursive writing. I will also begin to start to label some graded assignments with a percentage and what the letter grade would be if they were in 3rd grade ( as well as our S, S+, S-, or N). Hope this is also helpful. Thanks and thank you for visiting my website.
