Weekly Update #28 Week of March 27th
Where did March go? We had a great author visit with Henry Cole! Hope your child shared his great sense of humor through story and was inspired by his love of writing, drawing, and nature!
Congratulations to our Odyssey of the Mind participants, Christian and Julie! Their team won 2nd place at their competition last weekend! Way to go!
On Thursday, our class will be taking their End of the Year Reading test on the computer. Beforehand, it is important for them to get a good night’s rest, have a hearty breakfast, and come to school with a good attitude – ready to do their best!
Music News: Important Next week in music class (Wednesday) students will be participating in sharing sessions. This means that students can bring their individual or group talents to present in class. They may need to bring props, instruments, or electronics to school on the day they have music. Students are allowed to present anything musical or non-musical except for video games (art, dribbling tricks, illusion, martial arts, singing, group choreography, etc.). Students may need help remembering what to bring for Wednesday so please check with your child so if they choose they may participate! Thank you! Mrs. Brewer
Hope to see you for SOL Parent Night Wednesday!
Please keep reviewing math facts and go over the math homework with your child to check for accuracy and showing their work! We will start reviewing along with continuing on our curriculum objectives.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns as always!
